The Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, said that there were a number of rules that were adjusted to the extended PPKM Level 4.
"The implementation of PPKM Level 4 is reviewed based on 3 main levels, case indicators, the health system based on WHO assistance, and the socio-economic community," said Luhut at a press conference, Sunday (25/7/2021).

As long as PPKM Level 4 is in effect, the basic food market that sells daily basic necessities is allowed to open as usual by implementing strict health protocols.
People's markets that sell daily necessities can open with a maximum capacity of 50 percent until 15:00 local time. Further arrangements will be regulated by the local government.
"We ask the local government to arrange it properly because there are no crowds and new clusters," said Luhut.

Meanwhile, street vendors, grocery stores, agents, voucher outlets, barbershops, laundry, hawkers, and other small vehicle washes are allowed to open with strict procedures until 21.00.
As for food stalls, street vendors, hawker stalls and the like that have a place of business, they are allowed to open with strict procedures until 20.00 and meal times for each visitor are 20 minutes.

"We recommend that while eating because you don't wear a mask, don't communicate much," Luhut suggested.
Then, for public transportation, public transportation, mass transportation, conventional and online taxis, and rental vehicles are regulated with a maximum capacity of 50 percent with strict procedures.
In total, there are 95 districts/cities that implement PPKM level 4 in Java-Bali. For PPKM Level 3, it will be implemented in 33 capital cities in the Java-Bali region.
"Other provisions are the same as PPKM level 4 which runs as before," concluded Luhut.
